The New Zion Baptist Church Sunday School Department falls under the Christian Education umbrella and is headed by a Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. Sunday School teachers meet regularly to prepare and plan for Sunday School classes which are conducted each Sunday from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The Sunday School lessons follow a standardized curriculum complimented by the resourceful pedagogy of our Sunday School teachers. The Sunday School’s goal is to offer simple and creative teaching and learning experiences whereby students grow in their relationship with God, their understanding of the Bible and their Christian life.

Join us weekly at 10:15 a.m. each Sunday (following breakfast in our fellowship hall) for exciting discussion while learning new insights and perspectives on the Biblical characters and times of the Old Testament, the life, crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, the lives and teachings of the apostles and prophets and in general about our Christian faith and relationships toward each other.
