Women’s Ministry Leader
The Women’s Ministry has as its mission the educating and nurturing of women through bible studies, and other special events; to minister to the spiritual, mental, and emotional needs of the women of New Zion. The Women’s Ministry provides a forum to learn more about our religion, to share our experiences with other women and to develop a closer personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All women of New Zion Baptist Church are members of the Women’s Ministry and are invited to become active participants. The Women’s Ministry also welcomes women who are not members of New Zion to join in the fellowship activities.

The Women’s Bible Fellowship is held each 2nd Saturday of the month except for the months of July and August. In addition to studying the Bible the fellowship is currently discussing the book “A Heart Like His” by Beth Moore. The sessions are characterized by Fellowship and bonding and usually a continental breakfast provided by the ministry.
A Women’s Retreat is held every other year. This retreat affords women an opportunity to get away and fellowship together for 3 days and 2 nights. It includes activities such as sharing of experiences, prayer and praise, pampering, and exercise. A keynote speaker is usually a part of the retreat.
