“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I  was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me”   Matthew 25:35-36

The New Zion Missions Ministry (formerly the Ladies Auxiliary) was organized  in  April 1938 under the direction of the late Mrs. Pearl Taylor, to  take care of the  sick and shut-in. The mission of the New Zion Missions Ministry is primarily  evangelism. Our highest aspirations are to win  the lost for Christ, to develop, equip and educate persons who have  accepted Christ as Lord and Savior to engage in Christian Services.

We believe the fields are ripe for harvest and God is doing a new thing in our ministry, bringing forth a spirit of healing and revelation of  God's love for all people. We have been created in God's image and for  God's purposes. We rejoice, give thanks and praise for the diversity of  God's creation found in our savior, Jesus Christ. We give God the glory!

In times of crisis we respond to support relief efforts in regions  impacted by disasters such as flooding and hurricanes. Some examples  are: Haiti, New Orleans and Mississippi. We support our troops in war  areas with love gifts. Our ministry provides food and clothing for the  homeless and assistance to families in crisis and in shelters. We have  assisted in search and rescue efforts for a disabled person in New Kent  County, Virginia which turned out very favorable. We strive to address  demands for prayer and to provide food and clothing items for the needy. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.

Join us on 1st Saturdays monthly at 10:00 a.m. for our monthly meeting

There is no age, gender or church membership requirement to participate!
