The Prayer Ministry is a  Holy Spirit-led, self-sustaining ministry. Every member of the ministry knows that it is his/her responsibility to intercede in  prayer daily for the church, the  vision for the church, the pastor and his family, the members and ministries of the church, the community,  and  the world.

Prayer is  communicating with God and it is essential to the spiritual growth of the believer and developing our relationship with God, our Heavenly Father. Prayer is the channel by which our heart, mind and will become aligned with the will of God.  Prayer links the believer with the purpose and power of God.  A disciplined and consistent prayer life demonstrates our dependency on God.

WORRY about NOTHING; PRAY about EVERYTHING!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving , present your requests to God. ”   Philippians 4:6 NIV

The Prayer Ministry examines the use of prayer through the popular prayer acrostic A.C.T.S.
This acrostic provides an easily remembered prayer outline which is to express:

•      Adoration - enter into fellowship with God with great respect and admiration.
•      Confession - as you come into God’s presence you will be convicted of sin; ask for forgiveness.
•      Thanksgiving - thank God for material and spiritual blessings.
•      Supplication - make your requests/petitions known unto God.

Most of all, be guided by the Holy Spirit in your prayer life. Pray constantly for yourself as well as for others.

ALWAYS HAVE AN ATTITUDE OF PRAYER.
