The purpose of the New Zion Baptist Church Scholarship Ministry is to provide financial assistance to students who are members of New Zion Baptist Church and are seeking to continue their education beyond high school. To be eligible to receive a New Zion scholarship a church member should be a full-time student in attendance at a four year college or university, a two year college/trade school or any other school of higher learning above high school. Qualifying students may apply for as many scholarship as meet their eligibility requirements for a given school year. Since all scholarships require the same information a single application can be used to apply for multiple scholarships. The scholarship(s) being applied for must be checked on the application.
The Scholarship Ministry is funded by the general congregation of New Zion Baptist Church and by private funds from members of the congregation.
