The Transportation Ministry is responsible for meeting the transportation needs of the church. This includes upkeep and maintenance of the church’s vehicles as well as providing or arranging, as appropriate, transportation for church sponsored functions. Transportation may be provided to functions held at the church as well as off-site travel.
All drivers of the church’s vehicles are certified as safe drivers and are trained in emergency procedures that includes steps to take in case of transportation vehicle breakdown as well as basic CPR techniques. Below are a list of services provided by the Transportation Ministry.
- Provide transportation to members or persons in the community needing a ride to/from Sunday morning worship services
- Assist ministries with transportation needs to events/activities within a 60 mile radius of the church.
- Provide transportation assistance to senior citizens in the community.
- Arrange for other transportation needs of the church such as contracting commercial buses for special church functions when appropriate
